The Triangle Bird Count uses count locations within the limits of each of the major cities in the Triangle region. These points are based on a 1 km x 1 km grid overlaid on maps of the cities.
Currently, we have static maps of the point locations for each of the following cities: Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Cary. In addition, interactive maps showing all the bird count points is also provided for each city however, it is not yet finalized.
Best viewed on a computer (not phone or tablet) as the map is graphics-intensive and can take a while to load. The points on the interactive map are not finalized (some points still need to be moved off private property).
