Who can participate?
We are currently looking for intermediate to experienced birders to help with the Triangle Bird Count from April 15 to May 31, 2019. However, anyone that has an interest in birds, wildlife, and science is more than welcome to participate.
In order to participate, we recommend that each individual is able to to identify birds accurately by both sight and sound, but also the ability to quickly identify more uncommon species with a field guide.
For those that are unable to identify birds by either sight or sound, there is no need to worry as training will be provided for those that need it at NC State campus. Just click on NC State training map to see where training will take place on campus. All you need is 15 min, your binoculars and enthusiasm for birding.
We have changed our management system and will be using a new contact method starting April 30th. Please sign up by filling out the google forms contact sheet.
